Hey everyone -

Is it possible to use Premiere Pro's Waveform/Vectorscopes to monitor live video from the DVX100A? That would be soo handy to have my laptop at the shoot and be able to get live feedback on the quality of the signal.

Any thoughts, anyone?

no , you cant do that with any nle that i know of.. (an avid system can probably do it..or of course a hardware setup can do it). the scope window only works on files once they are imported, and in most nles, you cant even operate the *timeline functions when you are in the middle of capturing video, and only the capture window is open and active.

With RTX100 and Premiere Pro, you can get a waveform or vectorscope view in realtime when you prepare for an analog capture.
