I was looking through the official Sony brochure for the EX-1 and it pictures 8 and 16 gig San Disk cards as part of the system.

Are these available on the market or are they vaporware? Are they cheaper than the Sony SxS cards?

These aren't the cards that people refer to with the KxS solution, are they?

Thanks

As I understand it, SanDisk makes the cards; Sony stamps their brand name on it, hence the "SxS" name - "Sony by SanDisk". Could be wrong, but that's how I remember it being introduced.

Amazon.co.uk lists the SanDisk SxS card as in stock; 8GB for GBP 357.98. The Sony 8GB is listed at GBP 289.99. However, the SanDisk 16GB is listed at GBP 507.93, and the Sony 16GB is listed at GBP 779.99.

Makes no sense.
