Just knocked it up for a bit of fun. As usual, its not a scientific comparions, just one based on your eye!

Have a great new years party when it comes your time, I'm off soon to shoot the fireworks & celebrations tonight in Melbourne (Australia) with the EX1 and lots of KxS! I'ms still not sure if I should shoot 720 50p or 1080i as it is going to SD only and I have heard 720 50p does better SD convertions (but I havn't tested yet). The main problem is that shooting 720 50p does drop my sensitivity down and this is probably going to hit me at night.

I'm an old school videographer so I like the video look of STD1. But I've heard that many people are using CINE4 which is what I plan to try when we get our EX3 next week.

We shoot a lot of boating around here so I'm planning on trying CINE2 for handling the white clip problem we've always had trying to get a good exposure when shooting boats. (white fiberglass hulls, white water, etc...)
