Hi, hopefully I have found the right forum to post this.

For my university dissertation, and am investigating sterioscopic cinema - from image acquisition though to post production work flows.

Im aware that a few forum members have some experience in this feild, and was wondering if anyone who has would mind answering a few question and maybe have a chat on msn messenger or the like.

In order to get the principles down and teach my self the basics I want to make/aquire a cheapish stereo set up for 2 HVX200s. How would something like this be http://www.berezin.com/3d/twinbar.htm.

Once I have the princples and technics of shooting stereo, I intend to approach rental houses and stereo mout manufactures such as-

and

in the hope that they will lend me one of the stereo mounts of academic purposes. I'm sure I will have very little to no luck with them, but I figure its worth a try. Any suggestions on hows best to approach them and as anyone here had any luck borrowing equipment from manufacturers for free or at a highly reduced price?

I'm currently reading 'The theory of stereoscopic transmission and its application to the motion picture'. Some useful information in there, but can anyone recomend any other stereo books?

Cheers.
