green horizontal lines on capturing n playback.

Hi, I have just begun to use my new dvx100ae as a playback deck, and after the first 3 tapes that dumped out nicely, I started getting these green lines running horizontally across the frame, both while capturing n playing back. Interestingly, this does not show up when i play back the clip using windows media player.

I am still using matrox 2500 n premier 6.0. Any help will be hugely appreciated! Thanks!

I had that exact problem. Is it only for about 5 - 10 seconds at the beginning of capture? If so then I think its due to humidity/moisture. I took my elura 65 snowboarding and I put it in a ziplock a little late and I had those green bars on playback and capture. They werent permanent though, after about a week they went away.
