HD or film out

When planning a film out or 24p HD transfer, should I convert to 24p BEFORE editing the project, or can I edit the whole project and then do the conversion after?

Well, it's a hassle to have to convert afterwards. That means going through EVERY SINGLE SHOT and removing the pulldown...it's much simpler to do it beforehand.

The thing is, if for some reason it *would* be easier to do it afterwards (ie. low disk space) then it might be easier to do it afterwards.

But remember, it's annoying as hell to do it! So only do it after editing if you absolutely must.


Also, why not convert to 60i HD? Might be a good median...
