Pulldown Confusion

Here's an insanely newbie question. (My copy of PPro 1.5 is on the way, and DVX will *hopefully* be ordered soon) I'm confused about the whole pulldown thing. By that I mean what is pulldown? I've seen a lot of talk that PPro doesn't support the pulldown of the 100A. Sorry for the bad questions:(

ppro 1.5 does supprt the 24pa pulldown from the dvx, and heres a site to help you understand what it is..:
