Hi guys! Yes I know the mac book pro's don't have the proper slot for the p2s and the duel adapter is the only solution so far.. My question is, with bootcamp, is a macbook pro (in windows mode) + the dueladapter the best choice if you own a mac book pro? Any advice appreciated. !

I use my MBP and adapter in OSX. Why on earth would you use Windows? Are you editing on the windows side?? My advice, stick to OSX and use the adapter there. :)

The easiest/ fastest way: keep the p2 card in the camera and put it in "1394 or USB pc mode" Then plug it into your mac and it opens like a flash drive.

And it sometimes frys your FW ports on both the MBP and the cam...
And it is very convenient not to stop shooting for offloading the cards...
And using the Duel should still be faster than copying via FW...
