Since getting my HVX, I haven't yet shot any skateboarding. I am very excited to start. I was thinking that I want to shoot everything in 60p, so that way I will always have the option for slow motion, even though I'll probably want to always work with 30p timelines.
I've heard people say that when you drop 30p footage into a 24p timeline, it does a crappy job of removing those 6 frames, and that you shouldn't do it.
My question is, if I have a lot of 60p footage, and I want to use it for normal speed 30p, can I just drop it into a 30p timeline? It doesn't seem like it would be possible to do a crappy job of removing every other frame.
