Hi there guys,
i have purchased a pal dvx 100.
Having hooked up to my recently upgraded computer with premiere pro i have discovered a few problems.
if i set the device control to panasonic and try to capture from set in and out points i continually get a message sugesting that i increase the preroll, after setting it to 10 secs and the same prob i changed the control to generic.
occasionall i set the camera off to start at an in point and the camera rewinds to just before the start then goes into play until just after the start timecode then it goes rewind and round in a cycle until i press stop on the camera.
also unable to get scene detection to work. (one of the reasons i changed from prem 6.5)
having carefully read regarding timecode in the manual and other place i think i have finally sorted this out by setting the UB Mode to time.
I hope this will fix the problem. I willl try shooting some footage tomorrow to see if this works.
any suggestions re the settings i should use on both camera and premiere?
