I'm looking for something to be able to switch between two external monitors on two separate camcorders from a distance and with just a click of a button.back and forth.i think i saw the making of sin city and robert rodriguez showed his setup next to tarintino.
Does anyway know what i'm talking about.i guess it has to be some sort of wireless connection between the two.

if you specify the camera and the monitors, you can split for example sdi or hd-sdi with a small converter and output to two monitors, you can also output to different monitor input sources if it has, depending on the monitors, you can find an easy way of doing that, it's not a big deal, even if the monitor only have one input option you can still split two signals going to it and control it with a switch.same thing goes to any analogue or digital signal, you can split pretty much anything.

you can find either professional broadcast type of wireless component, or more consumer type wireless cable solutions, if the wireless connection is between the camera and the monitor then the broadcast one might be the only solution since the consumer one would need to be plug in for electricity to work, but if it's between the monitors then any consumer product will work.

probably the eng or broadcast solution will cost more than your budget, and you'll need to worry about batteries and getting clear signal and what not that makes it not very practical, but connecting two component monitors with a consumer type product wont cost much.

your only using two cameras, and one of them is a small camcorder, you can prioritize your budgets in better ways than to have wireless video signals between a camera and a monitor.
