Mysterious spots on lens

Hey all,

I purchased an hpx170 a couple of weeks ago and have played with a couple of settings around the house. I have noticed that there are specs on the lens that look like dust specs in the coating. I am wondering if there have been any issues with the hpx170 regarding lens coating or speckling? Just for clarification there is actually no dust on the lens and it has been stored with lens cap on and a pelican case with silica salt packet.

You should have the service folks at the dealer you bought it from look at it. Or if you are close to a Panasonic service center look at it.

I think you should have your camera looked at as well if you have dust in the lens. And the only time I have seen a camera fog up is when the environment of where the camera was changes to a new location, but then it eventually clears as the camera acclimates. If you experience is any different then you should have it checked out.
