DOF Adapter Oops!

The rain paused for a bit and I wanted to take a few quick shots to try out some adjustments on my DIY mid-format adapter. It seems that I didn't properly secure the spinning GG.

This explains why I was having trouble focusing...

The image going out of focus was happening by itself as the spinning disk was coming off of the spindle. Fortunately, the GG (real glass) survived the separation.

Sure glad I ordered an SGBlade! When it arrives, I will retire the DIY adapter :thumbup:

Christ, that is a HORRIBLE noise.

It sounded worse in person... not to mention being caught completely off guard. I thought the GG had shattered.
