I am having a problem with my letus economy. It looks like somewhere in there, there are 2 marks on some glass. Whenever I mount the adapter, I get 2 little blemishes in the image and when the adapter is turned on, they start to spin in a circle. I cant se anything that would be causing this on any of the surfaces I can find. I try to call the guys at Letus every day and never get through to anyone. I havent left a message yet based on my frustration that I think someone should atleast 1 time out of 50 answer a ringing telephone.

I dont know if anyone has ever had a similar problem and what they did to solve it. I am hoping I can send it back to Letus and have them replace whatever part is scratched, just so I can have a useful adapter again. I will post images as soon as I get back to my p2 cards.

sounds like dust on the GG, you should be able to clean that with compressed air and a cotton swab if its underneath. Just be very careful.

A neat trick is to vibrate it while blowing the air, makes it even more effective.

So you think it might be on the outside part of the GG? I had a little lens cleaning kit that I tried to use on it and got no results.

the inside, facing the condensor.

Dont use any liquids or other lens cleaning stuff for the GG, just air!

use a manual air blower - one that you squeeze, instead of the compressed air cans as they often release non-friendly-to-focussing-screen gases.

If you do use compressed air (which I would not do!) do NOT spray the can upside down. It will release liquid.

Go to your local pharamacy and grab a booger sucker for babies. Use it as a blower :)

is it just me or has there been a hell lot of complaints against Letus products lately?

I think it's because the older units are now hitting the used market for cheap prices. Some of them may be "well used".

I've heard very little complaints from Ultimate users. (crossing my fingers)
