CS4 capture problems

I'm using a Canon XH-A1 , and on the SD setting no problems at all, but on HDV premiere can't capture anything. It goes thru all the motions and even says "batch capture finished" but in the end I get nothing. More or less same problem with OnLocation, SD no problems but as soon as I switch to HDV , crash.

Anyone else?

In OnLocation, do you get the crash only when capturing from tape or also when monitoring/recording from the camera's live feed?
