If you could have any actors and directors that you wanted, who would portray your characters and direct the film of your Scriptfest 3 entry?
For mine it would be:
Barlowe: Clive Owen, Hugh Jackman, Harrison Ford at about Raiders or Blade Runner age, or Bruce Willis when he had hair.
Alice Lewis: Halle Barry
Leo Darren: Ray Winstone or Mickey Rourke
The Overseer: Daniel Day Lewis (I know, a little unconventional, but it could be interesting.) If DDL couldn't do it then maybe Ben Kingsley or an artificially aged Daniel Craig might be an unconventional way to go. William Hurt would be great too.
Darren Aronofsky: I think he would do something interesting with this. Plus, we know he can do black and white from seeing Pi.
David Fincher: I love his dark atmospheric style. It would be perfect for this. He's also done crime films (Seven and Zodiac) which could be considered neo-noir.
Of course this is all just pie in the sky daydreaming. It'll probably come down to me with my video camera and whoever I can find to fill the shoes of my characters.
