Can Premiere generate TC to start camera?

I am shooting a music videoa nd want to lay down an audio track in Premiere.. Play it and when I do have it trigger the camera to start recording in sync with the audi TC...

Can this be done?

No. Premiere does not generate it's own time code nor perform the type of master/slave function you want.

Although it's more work in post, you could do playback on the set (with DAT, ADAT, MD, or mabe even CD), record with the camera mic, then resync in post. Given that most music video's don't use long, continuous takes, and your performers won't lip sync perfectly anyway - you can get away with less than absolute perfect sync on the set and slip and slide audio/picture in post to match.
