Hi folks - Long time lurker - 1st post. Former VX-1000 then HV20 and just got my 5Dmk2 last night. Very pleased
I'm trying to find some info on the best tools and workflows for NLE with the new beast. I've had tons of experience and have shelled out a lot of money on pretty bad tools. My last Premier Pro was 2 years ago $1K+. Tried Elements for the heck of it. Bought Vegas Platinum and a slew of sub 200 NLE
I work in both platforms Mac and PC so Is it time to bite the bullet and go to FCP?
I'm looking at about 1 to 2 projects per month with final output to Blu Ray (if possible at full 1080p), DVD and also Digital (Apple TV or Media PC streamed to HDTV)
I'd appreciate any links to people who have described their editing/authoring/outputing workflows.
Oh and where is the 5DMk2 sub-forum ;-)
