If I already have a UV filter for my EX1 camera, what's the best option for protecting my 35mm lens? I mean since I already have the UV filter for my EX1, what's the best option for protecting my 35mm lens, another UV filter or a clear filter?

I find lens caps work really well.

I am always bothered by the loss of contrast and sharpness of a UV filter, even the expensive ones.

Lens caps works well, but too bad I can't shoot with the lens cap on.

I'm thinking about this one (http://www.adorama.com/NK77C.html). It's a bit pricey though.

yeah they are sometimes expensive but if you look around you can find a deal, but just make sure to buy it new because they can end up with some scratches from what that person was protecting their lens from. I really like Tiffen's, it's treated my camera real nice and super it's easy to clean.

Any opinion on this one (http://www.adorama.com/HY77CP1.html)?

I use Hoya UV filters on my DSLR, and them seem decent, defiantly not top of the line.
