Reserved for nothing to do with your film...and me taking up space someone else could easily say something nice to you...but I'm just gonna take this spot for the hell of it!

And I shall deliver "Never", and we will let the voters decide better "Late" than "Never", or visa-versa

Oh cool. If you deliver "Never" can I shoot that one instead? I think my entry for "Late"might be delayed...

Maybe i should change the name? You guys are totally scaring me. After looking at puckthemad's thread, I don't stand a chance, i'm just starting out. From what i can see Alex is like the writing genius on here. maybe i should wait this one out. i planned on shooting with my friends next week if we get some better weather.

Dude, you can;t back out. It's about making a movie and doing a good one. Placing or winning is only a perk.
As you can see, I've never done either and for all of my shameless self-promotion my movie could very well suck. Not all heavily hyped threads produce winning entries.. or entries that even make the top 10. The only thing I'm aiming for is to make a genuinely funny and well made movie... and to document my process all the way through, mainly because some of that documentation is what they ask for in some festivals.
Focus on your movie, figure out how to get it made with good actors, a strong story and some great shots. You might surprise yourself and emerge with the winning entry. You just can;t have Secodn Place: Mark Harris has that one locked up

Thanks for the good words. i'm still thinking about it. i'm new & it seems like all you guys are at a much higher level than me. All i have is a camera and a dream. figure i'll make the movie and see if it turns out good enough to enter. i will be watching all these films for sure. hope I can lean something! lol.

Hey Man, don't back out, the only way to get better is to jump in with both feet and do it! I am entering my first fest, and even if my film is a dud, I expect to learn a lot and have fun doing it!
And trust me, EVERYONE is not at a high level, you'll do fine.
