I am calling to arms all my fellow actors.

Some of you heard the good news but for those who have missed it...I am heading to Slamdance with a film!!

Last fall I was part of a film called A Little Mouth to Feed by Jack Daniel Stanley and the team at Wrightsville Beach Studios. It won Best Horror it the CFIFN Film Festival last spring and now it is off to screen at Slamdance 2009 this January in Park City Utah. It was made for one of the DVX fests here!

Please do me the great favor of viewing the trailer on Myspace and adding yourselves as friends to the profile page. The film trailer is there for viewing and we just found out the Slamdance has made arrangements for people to view the short films on the web during the festival too!

Here is the profile link here: www.myspace.com/jackdanielstanleyfilms (http://www.myspace.com/jackdanielstanleyfilms)

Please take a look at the trailer. We are all so excited to have been made an official selection and even better...our first screening is prior to a major indie feature film directed by Ron Pearlam.

You can find all kinds of information on the profile there so give it a look and add it to your friends list. It would mean a great deal to all of us!

Thank you all so much!

AND...leave comments too!

As an actor I am floored to get this chance and welcome any information about this festival from any of you that have been. It won't be my first festival but it will be my first trip to Slamdance AND to Utah!

Have you ever been to Slamdance? What can you tell me about it?

Thank you Preston. I think we are all getting excited about going.

However...I am really starting to fear how cold it will be. NC to Utah is a major change in climate in the middle of January! can we say bbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...yes we can...lol

me in NC:happy: me starting to turn blue:eek: me reminding myself that this is going to be an adventure:cool: still blue with cold but smiling! lol

congratulations, and yes dress warm. The trailer looks awesome. My son did a feature this summer called
The XXXXXXXXX (XXXX XXXX XXXX) Xyrs old its going to cannes but unfortunately we cant go.Do you think he will act for dads projects ,not a chance, he says he will ,but then its "can we go to the park or i just wanna play with my star wars toys. But for a director he dosent even know its "ok where do you want me"GO FIGURE.
Have a great time and dont forget your boots.

ha ha ha kids! too funny but i think i get why he will do it for other directors and not dad. i have coached a bunch of kids and you know how they get at certain ages..."parents don't know anything" but everyone else does....lol....

and how cool the project is going to canne! that is so fantastic. that is huge!

and don't you know my boot heel broke and i can't find a guy to fix it...sighhh...i am going to freeze...lol...and ouch!

make sure and let me know when you hear the feedback from canne. you all must be tickled out of your minds!
