trying to decide between renting the Letus or Brevis on my next shoot. I'll be going at it alone so I need an adapter that is going to need the least amount of tweaking when I change lenses.

A buddy of mine suggested going with brevis since it can be collimated without disassembling the entire unit.

Have other users found this to be true (i'll be using it with the Hpx170). thanks!

The choice really comes down to which image you like the best. I liked the LEX over the brevis so bought one. Both can give you some fantastic images. That new Brevis is a monster though. That model was not out when I bought my Extreme.

thanks for the reply... Monster as in large or monster as in sweet...?

also, I'm not debating the preference, just the fact that the lex does or does not need to be re-collimated every time you switch lenses. Which one is the easiest to work with..That's the golden question for me right now for my upcoming shoot. thanks!

Monster as in sweet. I have never set up the brevis but the LEX takes me about 5 minutes and it Does Not need to be re-collimated when you switch lenses. Just take one off put another on, adjust and shoot. If you have to do that everytime you switch lenses with the Brevis I would say the LEX is the easier of the two. But again I have never set up the Brevis.
