Hi all,
I'm getting some jaggies in my footage when I bring my HD Prores 422 conformed spots into a SD timeline and I can't figure out how to correct it.
I'm shooting on a Sony FX1 in HDV through a Redrock adapter using either nikon or Lomo lenses. I am very pleased with the images that I'm getting and Here is my current workflow: Capture directly from tape to prores 422. Edit in a Prores 422 timeline on FCP. At this point my images look great and I'm happy with everything. I export my timeline as prores 422 self contained movie and bring that movie into a SD timeline to export for air on local television. The quality of the image in the SD timeline looks quite jaggy. Nothing terrible, but I notice. My framerate stays 60I throughout the entire process. The SD timeline is using a Blackmagic 8bit uncompressed codec.
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be really appreciated.
thanks
Kevin
