Yes. It does what its supposed to do. Get the microX flip adater with it though.
Some people will argue other adapters will be better in terms of quality, but I think with the 50% off sale and having little experience with adapters, this is a great item to start with. Do you have any lenses though? Saving money on the adapter and getting better lenses is always a wise choice.
How much are you willing to spend total?

i just saw some recently shot hvx/m2 stuff my colleague shot in the edit suite. it's an old combo for sure, but, damn, it looked good.

i just don't know what do to yet..
because the m2 plus the flip will cost $1400 , with rods included.
and the letus extreme with rods will cost me 1400.. and it is already fliped...
there is a guy here in Sao Paulo , that told me that do not like too much the m2 , loss light more tham letus.
i was wondering to buy just these M2 start kit for $950 , without the flip.
and i pretend to buy to start , a comon nikon SLR lens....but maybe who know , i can aford for a zeiss in jully.
what to do...??
tks..

and the m2 comes with the achromatic lens... , the letus does not...
i think it will be a very nice experience for me just having this starter kit , for $950.
but on the other hand , i don't want to buy a lemon...!!!..
but i liked very much the footage that i'd see from m2 , of course it was on vimeo...but it was very nice for me...

The letus does have an achromatic lens. It's just integrate into the system.

what about to use the letus without the rods?
will be an extra weight in my hvx's lens...
'cause i have max..$1200 to spent..now...and my next chance to bring it to brazil without the 50% tax will be maybe in august...

A letus extreme with lens on your HVX is a bad idea. Never ever do that! Way too much weight for those 82mm threads. Redrock will ship to Brazil I'm sure. You really need the flip as well. That kit is priced at $1350 right now.
These adapters will not be on sale for long. I'm afraid you won't find 50% off a product very often. Redrock obviously wants to clear their stock of M2s. So if you don't buy in the next month or so... expect to pay a lot more for a system with adapter, flip, and rails.
