Hi all
When done with a project in Final Cut (5.1.4) I do a "select all" on the timeline and then go to the Media Manager in the file menu and save off a copy of all the assets (720p) I used in the project. Seems to be slicker than sno#, which is a good thing.
Burn this folder to a DVD and I'm thinking I have a decent way to make a quick copy of the project. Then I go and test this DVD on a different box. The DVD spins up, I drill into the media folder, drag a clip to the desktop and verify I can play it.
I get audio and no video. Where am I going wrong here? The clips on the DVD have no extension, so I did rename it with ".mov" once I had it on the desktop.
Is there a better way, within FCP hopefully, to collect all of the used clips and save them off to a DVD?
thx
JB
