Hey,

So I'm trying to a multiclip edit but FCP keeps removing the multi angle view when I run the timeline.

I.E. I've set up with my multiclip of the timeline, all the respective angles appear on the viewer, which is set to open. However as soon as I press the space bar on the timeline and play the video, the viewer loses the multi angle view and goes back to just playing the first video.

When I pause it will go back to the multi angle view, but that's useless because I need to be able to see all angles to edit!

confused..

This might help: if you render your sequence containing the multiclip,
then you can't see the angles in playback. So just go into your your
Render folder and trash those renders.

Great advice, Les.

I learned this lesson after countless frustrating hours with the same problem as above. A good rule of thumb when doing mulitcam editing is to take the auto render setting off. If you walk away for a while, your mulitcam timeline will render and become a nightmare.
