Went to Yellowstone for the 1st time in September (wow, that place is amazing!), and took along my new Canon HV30 to use for the first time. Pretty impressed with the results this camera produces. Not impressed with the tape motor noise, but I knew this was a problem. Image wise, I cant believe something that now costs less than $600 is so good!

Part 1 probably the most interesting to people I dont know.

nice video, did you do any color effects? color looks like it could be better, but for $600 what more do you expect?

thanks! no i didnt really do any color correction. seeing as its just a video for me and the people on the trip i didnt really feel the need to spend too much time on it. it was just a good excercise to learn some of the cameras capabilities etc. agree if it were for mass consumption, more time would be needed! but as far as holiday videos go, im pretty happy with it.

Nice footage. Yellowstone is one of my favorite spots on the planet.
Looks like you had a great group of people with you.
