4 video layer composite for product shot

Just showing off a finalized screen grab of what all went into creating this product shot. I have 4 video layers total, here on the left you see the three primary. First, one take of the devise (TV Ears Speaker) at a lower exposure to capture the color, light, and detail in the front dial and silver element of the speaker. Second, the same shot at a higher exposure to see the detail and color of the actual speakers, as well as the table (with some color enhancement). Composite those two for a more dynamic exposure of the speaker, and third, a mask created to lay on top of it all to give the white background surface a soft glow and bring more attention to the sharp detail of the product. After all was said and done I then had to go in and eliminate the white sticker from atop the speaker (4th layer). About 2 hours of editing work for about a 3 second long shot, but totally worth it.

Nice job.

Premiere is not a bad "simple" compositor but it would be so much better if one could invert garbage mattes.

I think Premiere's keyer has a lot to be desired. But that's OK when you have AE and Keylight.
