Alright, I've searched high and low and cannot seem to find a topic relating to this issue. Recently it seems that with every shoot I'm running into a problem of 1 or 2 clips that have a "clipping issue"(for lack of better term.) Basically the footage and/or audio ends up skipping upon import into FCP. After the first shoot I thought it was a card issue from when I transfered over, but it's now cropped up in my 3 recent shoots on all unique copies of the cards that I've made(as in copies made directly from the card to the drive - not copies from drive to drive.) The only suggestion I've seen was to protect the cards upon transfer, but alas this has not yielded any different results. Below is an example of one of these clips.
Example:

The weird part is that the clip plays perfectly in camera AND in the P2 Transfer window. After importing though I only get the half filled in circle signifying that some data has been left behind. I will note that I am still on FCP 5.1.4, so is this an issue that was fixed in FCP 6?(Thankfully, that will soon be in the mail in route.) Any suggestions anyone? Thanks!
