As some of you know, I'm moving in to the O.C area (found a place on the beach in Newport :))

In March for 2 months, possibly 3, depending if I get work or not-which Is my question:

For anything in film, what are the odds of me getting a couple of jobs down there for shoots/editing?

I'll be bringing my DVX, and my mac to work with, and I'm hopefully looking for some freelance work. Just enough for rent, or food.

I had a thought that some DVX'ers might need some help on shoots, or anything at all that I can scrap up :).

I'm 18, doing a fishing show now, with some corporate videos on the side. My website and resume (which needs updating) is found in my signature.

Let me know guys, it would be great If I could work with some of ya!

March 1st is probably when I'm moving in with my friend (Who's in the music field)

At first I thought you meant the terrible TV show.

Remember the SNL sketch "Dear Sister" - this is where it originated from. 1:17 is when it gets good.

Where's the spoof? Lol. What'd that have to do with anything?

The SNL sketch. When I saw jobs in the OC - I though of the show. It was funny in my head.

Oh - that spoof never gets old. Best thing SNL has turned out in years.

Andy Samberg. You can't ask OT questions about the OC on SNL and then try to guide the conversation about you getting a job in the actual OC without it going back OT.

The OC... well, you know how I feel about that place. To make it in LA, which is too busy a market for someone of my talent, you have to be the most persistent person in the city. Especially if you're from The OC.

When I was young and stupid, I literally walked into The Post Group and told them I wanted a job. And got hired as a cable utility the next day. We had already started breaking into Universal Studios when we were in high school, but didn't parlay that into a business until a few years later when we figured out we could make better apple boxes than Sun Valley Cabinets for a few bucks less per piece.

We became the defacto supplier of those four products to Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox simply because we walked right in the front door and demanded their business.

It really is that simple. Go get em.
