Hey Filmies..

Recently purchased a HVX 200e and although I dont like putting my gain past 0 where possible Ive noticed that flicking that little switch on the left hand side of my camera isnt actually changing the gain.

Im not sure if its because Im looking through the viewfinder that I cannot notice these difference or if I have something selected that's overiding manual gain selection.

Please dont tell me to read the manual in combination with a playground insult...:Drogar-Evil(DBG):.

I lost my manual in a freak paper accident, and such remarks with only open up my emotional papercuts.

I won't tell you to read the manual, I'll give you the link.

Now you have the manual and maybe your emotions will come back to normal.

Hahaha. Nice.

There is a setting in the menu where you can change each L-M-H position to a certain gain setting. You might want to see what those are set to.

I went into the menu, and set all my gains: H, M, L, to 0dB. That way WHEN I accidentally hit that switch no harm is done.

Read and use the manual - two meanings.
