I'm posting a show shot on two HPX-500s. The AC's let the cards span during recording. When I go to Log and Transfer in Final Cut Pro, the clips show up. They are marked spanned. I can play them in the L&T window, but once they are imported, the head of the shot plays but the rest of the clip is black. Some of the shots are 20 plus minutes long.
Is there a way to pre-join the clips before import so I have the whole shot?

unfilmde,
I have never seen this before, even after editing with hundreds of P2 cards in Final Cut Pro. Is your footage still on P2 cards? Or a hard drive?
What version of FCP are you using?
Double check any firmware updates for your Mac and HPX-500 camera by going to the manufacturer websites.
Best,
Andrew

Did you make sure to copy over the lastclip.txt file with the contents folder? I think one of it's primary uses is for spanned clips.
Also, you might try DVFilm's Raylight for Mac. You can download a demo at www.dvfilm.com (http://www.dvfilm.com/raylight/mac/index.htm)
Hope this helps,
