please give me your opinion on the new color grading software "color" in fcp 6..

is this software pretty decent for color correction as far as film look and how is this software(color) compare to after effect and Magic bullet

Well let's see before it was Color it was called Final Touch and it cost $25,000. So getting it free with a $1,200 editing package seems like a pretty good deal with me. It's a lot closer to a DaVinci in terms of what it does than Magic Bullet or After Effects. Pretty much a different league.

The bottom line is when FCP has an upgrade, it is indeed an upgrade.
With Avid, it's a bug fix and only one step closer to where ya thought ya were when ya overpaid for their product.
Color is cool.

Couldnt live without color these days. If you learn how the WHOLE program works it takes you to a new level.

I want to use Color, but FCP is glitchy enough for me..

Color is definately worth the effort to learn it. Like you do audio outside FCP, graphics outside FCP, any serious video, take your grading to Color.
