Hello,
I shot a (low-light) dance performance using the DVX as a fixed master shot and a XHA1 in HDV for the medium/cu shots.

I shot in 50i @ 1/25 shutter speed. I managed to match the colors quite well. But one thing really bugs me : the DVX image is much sharper than the XHA1. So I added the FCP artistic blur filter which helps quite a bit.

And there seems to be much less motion blur on the DVX. Can I add that somehow using a FCP filter?

Anyone found a good set of filters to compensate the visual differences between the two cameras?

Your help and input would be much appreciated.

Thanx,
/Max

What i normally do when using 2 different cameras is use an effect on one camera, like black and white or add noise, that way it doesn't look like you tried to match but failed, it just looks like you never intended the footage to match, however it would depend on the style of the end product you're after.
