Hey guys I'm working with 720p footage from my HPX170 in Final Cut. The file limit for youtube is now 1 gig, almost any format. So I was wondering what format and settings I should use to maximize my video quality on youtube.

I would output it as 1280x720 progressive in an H.264 codec

Youtubes new windscreen format looks like junk. I uploaded a 720p h.264 qt file and it looked like garbage. Don't bother with youtube, stick with vimeo.

Here it is, not impressed

Change the end of your URL to &fmt=22 and you will see the difference.

Wow. I guess the &fmt=18 doesn't work as well now. Thanks for the tip. Looks like youtube has finally caught up to vimeo.
