Raw .MXF files.

I know this has been requested before, searching brings up a lot of topics from the release of the HVX, but none of the files are still hosted.

Does anyone have, or know where I could download a raw .mxf file, I want to see if my PC can handle any HD editing.

Why not provide the specs for your computer and which NLE you will be using.

We all can give some idea based on that info.

I would basically say you need a Core 2 Duo or better to edit HD.
You can do it with less, bu that is a rough guide.

I can edit HD on my Powerbook G4 1.67...and yes, from P2. 720, 1080...no matter. eSATA drives as media drives. Also with my Dual 2.0GHz G5...


But those ain't a PC...

My specs are sub par, but I want to see if I can at least work around it for now, working with proxy's or lower resolution renders.

P4 2.8 @ 3.36, 4GB Ram, 9800 pro, SATA 7200rpm drives.
