Jeremy, seriously. There's image problems again. The image of that dude carrying the jukebox is giant, you can't see it on a normal or even large screen. Also, what's up with that graphic of sanskrit?

Is anyone moderating the images that are submitted?

We will implement some file size constraints.

All great pics. Well done winners.

Thought the picture reviews by some were a bit cold, for example "The illegitemate children of Paul Revere and the Raiders?". I think the comp could benefit if peoples comments had their user name attached.

I was glancing through and just some general ideas. Maybe an approval process is needed for the photos. (Specifically the monkey last one, and the arabic text this one.) There are clearly entrants who disregard the rules in place.

Second - I think the comment edge on distasteful a lot of the time. It feels that since it is an anonymous comment, people can type anything and get away with it. To get some better comments and ones that aren't disrespectful - I think the name might need to be attached, akin to the comments on this board.

I'm down with the image size rules but think the anonymous comments is kinda cool. We don't get to do that in the photo forum and it's refreshing to read honest responses. After all, it's the star vote that counts not the typed responses. This is the one place where folks can be straight up honest and as a photographer, I would much rather hear some frank honesty over some kind responses that are tempered. It helps the real photographers see what folks truly think about their work. It may hurt, but as filmmakers we should have grown thick skin by now. Granted, some border the rude, but who here hasn't said the same thing about films we watch? That is the beauty of being an artist, roll with the punches and do better the next time.

Oh, and thanks for voting my shot #1.

I so rule.
