Saw a documentary an VH1 the other day about a rap star. Anywya, the whole thing, or at least most of it, was shot on a DVX. Every time another cameraman would gt in frame he was holding the dvx.

Uh dude, ODB died, not too long after he was released. He was off the drugs, (had gotten pretty big actually) and had started to rap again, for better or worse. But by that time the dope had played havoc with his system.

ODB was hysterical. RIP. You tube His MTV interview. It was funny as hell. He went to pick up his welfare checks in a limo with a camera crew. He definately had his own style.
He was off the drugs . . . But by that time the dope had played havoc with his system.
Actually, autopsy results showed that he indeed died from an overdose of drugs.

The cause of death remained unknown until December 15th, 2004. Although he reportedly complained of chest pains prior to collapsing, a heart attack was not listed as the cause of death. Final results from an autopsy show he had a lethal mixture of the prescription painkiller Tramadol and high amounts of cocaine in his system at the time of his death, which was ruled an accidental overdose by the New York Medical Examiner's Office.
REPORTED BUT UNCONFIRMED: During the initial autopsy of the 35-year-old rapper, a doubled plastic bag containing cocaine was discovered in his stomach.

Uh, Jarred posted that more than five years ago, long before OBD was dead. Don't know why this particular thread was dredged up . . . ?

Despicable use of my name, Tom. Digging up this thread for no good reason whatsoever. At least when I pull a Penguin it is because I have something to say related to the topic at hand.
Sad...

I guess he couldn't let go of the white horse. Ironically I wouldn't even know of ODB if not for my friend whose a big Wu fan. He played "Brooklyn Zoo" once like ten times during a car ride. We wanted to beat him. At some point we all ended up buying the single. Crazy.

When did that happen?
