Fest duration: You have until Jan 02, 9:00 PM EST to complete your entry.
Upload details will be provided.


* Entries must be completed within the specified dates.

* Deliverables must be provided as an h.264 compressed file (either .mov or .mp4) with a maximum size of 10 MB.


*You may include stock footage and music however no copyright violations. Licensed or royalty-free music and images only.


* Content must be “R” rated or lower.


* All entrants agree to grant DVXuser.com and its agents non-exclusive rights for their films to appear on a DVD or for DVXuser-sanctioned public screenings.


* Prizes, if any, will be announced.

Does the required elemen of CG literally mean 3d GC ? Like using Maya or Softimage ?

Or can it be old school FX like composites or Mattes ?

It can be anything you want. Photoshopped, matte, 2D, 3D, stills or animations, whatever.

Basically if some of the entry has computer generated graphics or effects but not all of it needs to be ofcourse.

No. But maybe leave 1/2 to 1 second black before beginning. People generally don't like an immediate start. If you have any credits feel free to put those in as well. Those aren't requirements, just suggestions.

Oh and if you have credits, it's always nice to acknowledge Dvxuser. :)

No leader required. Future fests may require one but at the moment, no.

When will viewing open and do we get to vote?

We'll try to have viewing open on Saturday Jan 3rd. We'll make an announcement when it opens.
Anyone with 50 posts or more can vote.
Anyone who submits an entry can vote regardless of thier post count.
