View Full Version : Anybody Successful Create a BDMV BluRay Disc With Raw Footage in Toast?

Supposedly . . . . .

All you have to do is drag the BDMV folder to the correct Video tab in Toast 9 and then burn to DVD5 discs.

Point is it don't work with blu ray players.

No Certificate folder is created.

I tested on an AVCHD blu ray player and the disc wasn't playable.

Has anybody got a workflow that works with BDMV folders out of Toast 9?

Update:

To use this function, you have to have created a BDMV folder out of a blu ray authoring app, such as Encore.

It won't just take that folder from the HMC150

This link addresses the issue that AVCHD is not technically blu-ray. Files need to be renamed and folders need to be created. I'm guessing you are on a Mac, but the AVCCam viewer copies files over with the correct names, so requires less manual work.
