Has anyone here purchased the batteries advertised at the top of this web site, and if so what are your impressions of the batts?

hey eric.. the batteries are actually direct DVXuser batteries, meaning I actually get them manufactured for you guys. So far they seem pretty good, and we welcome all feedback so i can tweak the case etc. to make them better.

Hey Zoom, how 'bout asking them if they can make up some 5400mah batteries? My 5400 rocks, but I don't think people will pay $180 for something that's only 50% more capacity than your $35 battery. So if you could make a 5400 for about $50-$60, you'd sell a bazillion of 'em!

Yes.. not so easy. I already asked, and they would charge me $2000 to retool the machines and then the cost would probally tripple since im not making a profit on them to over time pay for the re-tooling. I'm generous, but not that generous :P
I also had some people complain that the 5400mah cells from panasonic really throw the weight balance off the camera, although I guess if you put a mattebox or something on it it would counterbalance.

Zoomforce,
I ordered some batteries on the 24 of Nov, I'm just curious what the turn around time is.
Thanks,
Theo
