When is the 5D II relseased in USA?

anyone have a fixed date for release of the 5D II? I'm interested to start seeing some user reviews before thinking about ordering one.

If you go to this site and click on the red 5D Mark ll HD box, some information comes up with a date of 11/29/08. Two other dates listed below that are 11/22 (and Dpreview.com says it was released in China today) and the 23rd. I can't read Japanese or translate the flash page, but I'd be interested in whats happening on that date. Anyone read Japanese?

thanks guys... I have been told a definate date of Dec 5th for my 5D.. In UK

Christmas comes early this year!

It's available now in the USA. Some retailers have tons on hand... but others have sold out in minutes.:crybaby:
