From time to time I like to babble so here goes.

I got the Black Hawk Down DELUXE 3 DISC version for XMAS and of course I am stoked. I love the 'look' of that film and think that Ridley Scott is a kick ass director. One of my favorites actually. He hasn't always been one of my favorites, but after seeing Gladiator and BHD I have come to respect his work.

I am so trying to figure out how to best capture the look of these 2 films in particular with my 'lil friend'. The DVX.

So I'm junkying bigtime on the 3 DISC SPECIAL and come across a featurette on RIDLEYGRAMS. His own personal storyboards. Thumbnails really, and much to my surprise, they are exactly like mine. I was like "No fucking way dude, these are just like mine!"

I showed my wife, digging up my own storyboards and comaprig the two styles and even she was like "No fucking way dude, they are just like yours!"

I know, I know, so what. I was just stoked for some weird reason. Can you guys tell my wife and kid are gone right now and I'm just chillin in peace?

Well, on Christmas, after my little @#!$%*&@!%$#@ monster of nephew threw my JVC 1-chip consumer cam across the room, it got stuck in "Night" mode, and the results in normal light were VERY much like BHD.
