I guess this can be the 5DII music video thread. Here's another one:

not sure why it's choppy.

it's got jello written all over it...but that wouldn't have been an issue with a VR lense...ehm I mean an IS lense. but of course, there is none with such a DOF...I want a 30mm f1.4 with VR!!

Great looking video - amazing low light performance. But it has the feel of a soap opera. It might be an awesome camera for a documentary, but I feel it could inhibit the suspension of disbelief which is more important to my current work than absolute image quality.

I think that, due to the full frame sensor and thus additional stop of shallow DOF, the slower speeds of the IS lenses will be less of an issue on the 5DM2 than with the D90. Still liking my manual glass much better than my D90 kit VR lens though.

You kind of have to light these things.... get some bokeh in there too, man...
How do these people get the beta cameras!

Oh.. the tokyo video was allright at the end... they had a car mount and the camera was super wide and waaay down the front of the car... like 100 feet away from the drivers.. very weird. Nice shots coming off the front of the train.

does look like video. Would 24p fix that. alot of gain in the color shoots though.

the tokiyo video looks great though.

If it were shot on film, would we be impressed? Probably not. Even if it were in 24p, some the lighting (particularly on the b/w CU of her singing) makes it look like video.
