...don't bite.

I just received an e-mail from a company that was selling a lot of stuff (photoshop, CS4, XP, Vista, and so on) for discount prices. How discounted? Well, they stated "SUPER!!! DISCOUNT 800%" That's a lot of discount. Come to think of it, they should be paying me 7 times the original value of the product.

I checked their faqs, and I learned a lot of interesting stuff!

1.) They don't send you any disks, just let you download the programs from their site.
2.) No need to register these, just skip ahead! Registering takes too long, anyway.
3.) They will not send you an invoice saying that you've paid for anything. That's nice! Less junk mail!
4.) They take Visa and Mastercart. Mastercart. I'm going to have to get one of those.

How do these sites not get shut down?

Wow. These scammers are getting ballsy.

There is a sucker born every minute. If greedy people didn't exist, neither would the scammers because nobody would buy from them. I've always thought that scams were a symptom of our collective greed rather than a bad thing created to tempt nice people.
