Finally buying a DVX...

I'm finally, after a long time of saving up for a camera and researching, putting the money down for a DVX100a. (Thanks to 24Peter and Jarred for sending me stuff a while ago about the cam.)

I'm thinking I'll get a Portabrace DV3 softcase and a B+W multicoat UV filter, 10 MQ tapes, and, of course, an extended warranty.

Is there anything else I need to pick up? I have the tripod covered, and I think I'll hold off getting a mic for a while.

Hehe... so I take it what I'm planning to get so far is satisfactory for general screwing around until I get around to doing something of real purpose?
