View Full Version : Come to the "A Work of Art" Premier screening & Art Show in Los Angeles!

I'd like to invite all those DVX Users in the LA area to come and check out the Premiere Screening of my Twilight Fest entry, "A Work Of Art"...

Though technically, it will have already debuted on DVX by then, I will be screening a slightly longer cut (as we had to chop it up a little to make it in under 6 mins for Twilight Fest).

It's gonna be a fairly big event, with press coverage from LA Direct Magazine. We have sponsors that are providing free drinks and food and we'll also be selling raffle tickets for some pretty cool prizes.

Since we're having the premier at the art gallery we filmed at, we'll also have all of the film's art on display and available for purchase in a silent auction.

ANYWAY, enough talk from me, check out the invite below and make sure to RSVP so you can be on the guest list. There's gonna be a lot of cool people to network with there, and were working on getting a few celebrity attendees as well...

Well, isn't boston closer than Alaska? Airfare isn't that crazy expensive right now, we were able to get Morgan (one of the film's artists) out from New York for the weekend for $350!

Lisa and I will do our best to be there. We dig art shows anyway :) And supporting a fellow DVX User is always big for us, when we can.

Oh crap, I just remembered I'm supposed to shoot my friends wedding in Illinois that weekend, but we are supposed to fly back Sunday morning, so there's still a good chance we can make it.

This is very cool! I'd love to come out for the show, but my GF's b-day party is that day... Kinda tough to get out of that one. But, alas, i'll be there in good spirits! :) I really enjoyed your short.
