I'm choosing between these two and they look fairly similar to me. I'm leaning towards the Varizoom because I can get it right away in NY, but it seems like most people here use the MultiRig. Just wondering if anyone has tried the Media Rig or if one is known to be better than the other. Thanks!

The MultiRig is the one piece of equipment I regret buying.
The locking mechanisms were worn out shortly after a couple of uses.
You canīt put in on a tripot, it will swing like hell (they have released a adaptern now that seems to take care of this...
If you need to go on a trip overseas it will fold down nicely, but if you work localy and go to gigs by car, Iīd take a less flexible, but more stable shoulder mount, or a Cavision setup.
