Im relatively new to the whole 3d scene, but I've been trying to learn 3ds max and its been fun..lots of reading and video tutorials..but fun.

If I wanted to incorporate my 3d logos into my video work..for example a title sequence..how would I go about doing that?

Do I have to use a middle man for this, IE after effects then export it out as some avi or mov file? Im trying to create a dvd of some work.

I would appreciate any help..if not eventually I probably figure it out.

I've never used Max or Vegas before but you could simply render out a .mov or .avi out of Max and import it into Vegas.

If you are looking to incorporate cg like 3d text into live footage. You would most likely have to 3d track it in a program like syntheyes.

You can render straight out of max as a quicktime. You don't need motion tracking software unless you are trying to match camera movement from you video to your 3d project.
