"No copyright violations, you *must* use licensed or royalty-free music."
I found some music online that I'd like to use. It is a Creative Commons License "Attribution Non-Commercial 3.0 Unported" http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/
Does that meet the fest rules? Mods... ?
I'd like to use the music, but not at the risk of disqualification.
Thanks.

Yes. That license gives you the right to use their work for non-commercial projects.

You might also wish to visit www.jamendo.com, the site is made up of music that uses that type of licensing agreements.

I just might get this done in time. Is there an award for last entry? :2vrolijk_08:

Just to clarify - you must make certain you give the author proper credit for the music.
From the link posted:
"You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work)."

Thanks Luis ... that's correct. You must comply by whatever rules a license dictates.

Haven't started a thread yet, wanted to make sure I could finish it first. The jury's still out on that one. :)
